2020 is a exciting year for us at the newlyweds.sg. This is because we have shifted into a new showroom at 71 lor 23 Geylang. With the shift, we have updated our gowns selection by including more than 60 brand new gown! 

One of irk while preparing for our own wedding is how the photos shown to us and the actual gown can differ due to the age of the gown. This is why we continuously strive to refresh our gowns selection ever so often. Choosing of wedding gown

The choice of your wedding gown is going to be an important factor for your wedding day. It’s your big day where you are the main character among the 100’s or 1000’s of guest. Important factors to consider when choosing your gown includes:

  1. The ambience of the ball room: Always remember why you first choose the hotel ballroom. There is usually a reason why you liked the ballroom. To arrange for a fitting of gowns, do give us a call or sms to 8787 1951 to arrange for an appointment. Walk in are also welcome but it would be best to book an appointment so that we have a wardrobe coordinator around to assist you in the changing of gown.

3-4 days usually. Depending on the couple schedule, we can arrange for the gown to be collected a day to two before the wedding.
Honestly this depends on the couple and their parents. On a personal note, we do think the bride wearing a kua for the tea ceremony does make a difference in terms of the pictures for actual day and does make the tea ceremony more proper in a certain sense.
Tailoring and cleaning fee’s are already included into our packages. However, we do collect a refundable deposit of $500 from the couple in the event the gowns get damaged or such.
Depending on the number of gown you rent, it is highly likely that the first march in gown and the morning gown are the same gown. As such during the morning, do take caution when moving around. Always ensure a sister is around to help you hold onto the tail of the gown. Becareful if it is raining in the morning as this would not only create puddles of water but even mud. If you are having a photoshoot in an area of grass, do ask one of the brothers to check out the area where the bride path would cross.
